Terms of sale

These terms apply to all quotes and orders of Akemy, trading as DD Engine Parts (KvK 94268355), the Netherlands. We sell to businesses only.

1. Quotes

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. Prices are in euro, excluding VAT and shipping, unless stated otherwise. Availability is confirmed at the moment of order.

2. Condition of parts

Every quote states whether a part is genuine OEM, new aftermarket or overhauled. The buyer is responsible for confirming that the part number matches the engine. We check part numbers on request when the serial number is supplied.

3. Payment

New customers pay in advance. Existing customers pay within 14 days of invoice date unless agreed otherwise in writing.

4. Delivery

Delivery times in quotes are estimates. Risk passes to the buyer on delivery (Incoterms 2020 DAP unless agreed otherwise). Ownership passes when the invoice is paid in full.

5. Returns and warranty

Warranty terms are stated per quote and depend on the condition and source of the part. Claims must be reported in writing within 8 days of delivery for visible defects. Parts that were installed or modified cannot be returned, except under warranty.

6. Liability

Our liability is limited to the invoice value of the part concerned. We are not liable for indirect damage, including downtime, lost production or lost profit.

7. Law

Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
